Watabou
Finished one-page dungeon

A polished, compact map with notes in one artifact, ready to use as a one-pager.
Generate and make basic edits without an account. A free account adds saves, PDFs, props, and remixing.

Move rooms and corridors
Move rooms and corridors without regenerating the entire map. And without redrawing every little detail by hand.

Edit room content in place
Change descriptions, encounters, traps, treasure, and GM notes without leaving the editor.

Add props to the map
Creating a ruined sanctuary? Place props like altars, pillars, and rubble on the map. Bandit hideout? Drop in cots, tables, and more.
“Dungeon Flow is the best random dungeon generator I’ve ever used, and I’ve used a lot of them in my 25+ years playing D&D.”

Yes, particularly for GMs who like procedural generation but want to keep editing the result. Watabou gives you a nice looking result right away. Dungeon Flow includes system-specific content and lets you edit afterwards.
Dungeon Flow lets guests generate dungeons, perform basic editing, and export 100 dpi PNGs. A free account adds saved projects, PDFs, props, and remixing. Pro is $5 per month and adds advanced geometry editing, larger maps, high-resolution exports, commercial use, Foundry integration, and Universal VTT export.
You can change its notes, note placement, styles, layers, and several visual settings. You cannot directly move or reshape its rooms and corridors. For structural editing, Watabou expects users to export JSON into a separate map editor.
It generates evocative location notes and a short dungeon description. Those are system-neutral prompts rather than level-balanced encounters, traps, treasure, or rules-specific room content.
Watabou. Its interface and output are purpose-built around producing a compact map and notes that work together as a one-page artifact. Dungeon Flow is the stronger choice when editability, greater detail, larger scale, or VTT use matters more than fitting everything onto one page.
An unaffiliated module can create a Foundry scene from separately exported Watabou PNG and JSON files. Dungeon Flow's native module instead pairs with the user's account, imports notes, links the source dungeon, and updates the existing scene through re-import.
Watabou permits commercial use of generated images for free, with attribution appreciated but not required. Dungeon Flow requires Pro for commercial use, but provides structured adventure content, high-resolution output, larger maps, and more extensive editing.
The standalone generator encodes the generated result through its URL/seed, allowing it to be bookmarked or shared. It does not provide an account project library, and generator changes can occasionally break older permalinks.
