Questions about Dungeon Flow

Can I really run a campaign on Free?

Yes. Free includes the generator, graph editor, sensible map sizes, and exports you can use at the table. It is not a trial.

What makes Dungeon Flow different from other dungeon generators?

Many dungeon generators focus on creating a map. Dungeon Flow generates the dungeon prep too: room descriptions, encounters, traps, treasure, GM notes, and an editable room flow before you export or share.

Does Dungeon Flow use AI to generate dungeons?

No. Dungeon Flow is a traditional random dungeon generator. It uses sophisticated procedural techniques to produce high-quality maps and dungeon prep without relying on AI.

Do I need Pro?

You can generate and tweak dungeons for free without an account. A free account lets you save and export 100 dpi PNGs and PDFs. Pro adds XL and Gigantic maps, advanced map editing, 300 dpi exports, Full-Color Painted style, and Foundry import/export.

Can I edit the dungeon before exporting?

Yes. For free, you can revise the flow graph, adjust room and connection details, regenerate content, refine notes, and use basic map cleanup tools before you export. Pro adds advanced map editing: resizing and reshaping rooms, moving corridors, and changing connection types directly on the map.

Which TTRPG systems are supported?

D&D 5e and Pathfinder 2e are fully supported with system-aware encounters, traps, and treasure tuned to your party level and size.

What does the Foundry export include?

Pro sends a Foundry scene with walls, doors, dynamic line of sight, and journal notes for room descriptions, traps, and encounters.

What map styles are available?

Hand-drawn, Dark & Gritty, Old School Blue, and Full-Color Painted are available in the editor. Full-Color Painted exports require Pro.
